Many industries like Retail, Outsourcing and Finance have started applying this automation to their processes.
Talent
Indian workforce comes with a strong domain knowledge and now they have started infusing and combining technology with it resulting in a substantial pool of talent in RPA. This kind of expertise will attract higher income levels and that too in huge numbers as RPA creates significant openings across various industries.
The designations can range between Bot Managers, Infrastructure Staff, Implementation positions, etc. but this materializes at the back while layoffs happen in many sectors since in certain job areas since technologies prove to be more efficient.
Optimism
However, the world understands that it’s experiencing the 4th Industrial Revolution in the form of Business Process Automation and it’s not about all doom and gloom. A recent report published by Everest Group suggested that almost 80% industries have mentioned that RPA meets and exceeds expectations and not only in one single vertical but is highly scalable across the organization.
As per the report, 40% enterprises have invested in RPA, IoT, AI, etc. and are on their path of automation already.
